Unlocking the Power of Hemp

Sustainable Aquaculture
Rare Earth Global is harnessing the full potential of hemp to decarbonise aquaculture. Hemp is one of the fastest-growing plants on earth, capturing 12–15 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare – up to eight times more efficient than trees. By turning this crop into a portfolio of sustainable products, Rare Earth Global offers a powerful, nature-positive alternative to some of today’s most damaging commodities.
Its flagship product is a protein concentrate made from hemp seed, offering an alternative aquafeed that reduces deforestation, enhances biodiversity and soil health, and reduces emissions for fish farms by a minimum of 41%. The residual stalk material is repurposed into bio-based construction materials such as hempcrete, displacing carbon-intensive concrete while improving insulation and energy efficiency.
With zero waste and demand secured for over one million tonnes of carbon-negative products by 2030, Rare Earth Global is building a scalable hemp supply chain. By working with farmers to localise production and applying AI for quality control, the company ensures a reliable, sustainable product. This is industrial hemp reimagined – delivering food security, renewable materials, and significant benefits for nature and climate.
